When: Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th November 2015
Where: Lvl 8, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne
Time: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Registration: This event is now closed.

SIF targetted training will be running on the 17th and 18th November.  It is an opportunity to meet the SIF guru’s and discuss any issues and challenges you face in your implementation.

  • Have you got a problem with a SIF development that you want solved?
  • Do you want to know more about Events in either Direct REST or a Brokered environment?
  • Do you want to work together on integrating your application to another vendor?
  • Are there any specific questions that you have outstanding regarding SIF or A4L?
  • Do you want to try out some NAPLAN Registration Use Cases?
  • What to know how to use HITS for your testing?

You will have the opportunity to do this and more at our free Technical Workshop being held on 17th and 18th November in conjunction with the SIF-Access for Learning Community Meeting on the 17th November.

There will be SIF Experts available to advise on best practice, answer technical questions on both the 17th and 18th November where you can bring your development and work through any problems - or you can start to develop your own adaptor to connect directly via REST to another vendor, HITS or a Broker. Bring your own device and development environment and you will get all the help you need.

These days are targeted at all developers whether new to SIF, those wanting to refresh their knowledge, those needing the answers to in-depth questions or SIS Vendors wanting to test the NAPLAN Registration Use Cases.

The Technical Workshop will be collocated with the SIF A4L Community meeting on the 17th and participants are welcome to attend relevant sessions during the day and join the other community members for a networking session from 4:30.

As a prerequisite to this training, it is recommended that you review the online SIF 3 bootcamp which can be found here
