About the National Schools Interoperability Program
The National Schools Interoperability Program (NSIP) is an initiative of State, Territory and Federal Governments in Australia that promotes the adoption of nationally agreed technical standards to improve the interoperability of information systems used by schools and school authorities. NSIP neither collects nor stores data relating to students and schools.
The operation of IT systems that use the standards promoted through NSIP is the responsibility of education organisations and their suppliers, in accordance with their privacy, security and duty of care obligations.
